calendar, but you know Bon has more on his mind...such as coordinating team competitions and events. We’ll see.  Dan and Karin will co-chair the Social Committee, making sure that our reputation as major league party people remains intact. And Dan has also offered to be the Communications Czar, creating newsletter and web site updates.  At that point in the meeting, Bon was so pleased with himself, he figured he better get out before we all woke up to the fact that he’s not going to do all the work any more. Damn!  In any case, thanks to all new volunteers.

In what can only be described as an effort to get himself impeached from office for over working the club, reigning Fleur de Lys President (5 years and counting) took the bulls by the horn and held a formal club meeting this week.  Using his normal cunning, Bernard waited to spring his agenda on the unsuspecting club members until after they had spent Wednesday evening wearing themselves out fencing. Contest: Name That Newsletter!

Lets face it, Fleur de Lys Times-Picayune is not a name that any rational club would pick for its newsletter. I really see it as only a place holder until next month, or until the collective intelligence of the Fleur de Lys comes up with a new and better name for this

publication. To that end, like any good newspaper, we are going to run a contest to find a new name.  It’s open to all of you. In fact, since this club is really not a democracy, but more like a backwater banana republic, you are all required to come up with at least one

suggestion for a new name. I’ll be keeping a list, and anyone who doesn’t come up with a name may be made President at the next club meeting. So, if you want to avoid that, submit your suggestion for a new name to: danleach22@hotmail.com  We’ll pick winner at Romios.

Displaying his new aggressive management style, President Bon takes command of his wife, Valerie. Of course right after this, she socked him in the gut.
